International customers & Overseas orders

Please note: You, or the addresse, may be required to pay import duties on receipt of your order anywhere outside the UK. Please be aware that this is the responsibility of the customer.

In the scenario where a customer refuses the receipt of an order on the grounds that they do not want to pay local territory customs duties or taxes, the customer should contact The Wimbledon Shop Customer Services to request a refund. The refund will be actioned once the order is receipted by the AELTC and the value processed will be for the purchased goods only and will not include any shipping charges.

Please be aware that as of January 1st 2021, the UK is no longer part of the European Union. This means that orders being shipped to European Union member countries from this date may now incur duty charges and local taxes which must be paid by the customer on receipt of their package. We apologise that we are not able to provide more details on specific rates at this stage. 

 

 

RETURNS

 

Returns Policy

Unsuitable goods purchased via Wimbledon.com/shop can be returned for a refund or an exchange within 28 days of purchase. The item must be returned in a resaleable condition, with all tags still attached and in its original packaging. In the case of apparel and clothing accessories, the garment must be unworn.

Faulty merchandise can be returned for exchange or refund within a reasonable amount of time. All items must be accompanied by proof of purchase (eg Order Number) and all exchanges are subject to availability.

The following product is not eligible for refund or exchange, unless faulty, owing to issues of hygiene:

  • Earrings
  • Socks
  • Undershorts
  • Personalised items

The AELTC has the right to refuse a return or refund should the cusomter not notify  them the intention to return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt of the item. Following notification, the customer has a furrther 14 days to return the product(s) to the AELTC. 

Goods purchased from Wimbledon.com/shop may be returned to the physical Wimbledon Shop on site at the All England Lawn Tennis Club if they fit the above parameters. 

 

Returns Process

If you are unhappy with your item, please follow the below process to return the product to us:

  1. Register your return via our ‘Returns Form’ page.
  2. Once you submit your return, we will automatically send you a confirmation email, with the address to which your items should be returned.
  3. Return your parcel, preferably in the original packaging the product was sent in - our boxes have reseal strips for this purpose. You will be responsible for the cost of postage. Should the product be identified as faulty on inspection, the returns cost will be reimbursed along with the cost of the product when the refund is processed. You can send the item back using a carrier of your choice, however, we highly recommend using a tracked service. The AELTC are not liable for any loss, damage or theft and any costs incurred will not be reimbursed.
  4. For international returns, mark your parcel “return goods”, or it may get held up at customs
  5. Refunds (less any import taxes and duties for international purchasers) will land in your account, within 15 business days of the product being received, if eligible

If you would like to exchange your product for an alternative, we ask that you follow the above returns procedure and select 'store credit' as the resolution. The Item value plus any shipping costs will be applied to your Wimbledon Shop account to repurchase an aternative item or items. 

 

Refunds

Products purchased via Wimbledon.com/shop can be refunded within 28 days of purchase. To be eligible for a refund the item must be returned in a resaleable condition, with all tags still attached and in its original packaging. Refunds will be processed onto the same card used for the original purchase. Refunds can take upto 15 business days to be processed.

Exchanges

If the item does not meet your expectations and you wish to exchange for another, please select "store credit" when submitting your return via our "Returns form" page. Please note: If you do not have one already, you will need to register for a MyWimbledon account first. Your account will be credited with the value of the returned items and this can be redeemed against your replacement order.

The following product is not exchangeable, unless faulty, owing to issues of hygiene:

  • Undershorts
  • Personalised items

 

Postal Charges Relating to a Refund or Exchange

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs of returning product to The Wimbledon Shop for either refund or exchange (store credit).
  • On receipt of a faulty item where the fault owes to manufacture, The Wimbledon Shop will refund the customer cost of postage and original delivery charges. The Wimbledon Shop will not reimburse alternative packaging costs for returns owing to dispatch packaging having reseal strips for this purpose. 
  • On receipt of an item for refund or exchange, where this is received in saleable condition, the cost of the both return and re-delivery is to be borne by the customer.
